Devil’s Playground is a thriller spread across a number of different cities and countries and I love to research well, so I have travelled to each location in the book. I thought I would give you a glimpse of the various cities over the next couple of weeks, to give you a sense of the different backdrops. As you make your way through the book, you may even be able to recognise the odd place.

This week, a city that straddles two continents, Asia and Europe: Istanbul. It’s a beautiful, fascinating city so rich in ancient history you’ll want to visit it more than once.
